Ext 2.0 public beta available
One of the worlds best javascript libraries has even become better: Ext.
When we (at Innovation Gate) started to develop the new authoring UI for our content management system WebGate Anywhere we decided to implement a desktop like UI. We tested some of the most popular open source JS-Libraries among them prototype.js, script.aculo.us, Yahoo's YUI, Dojo and last but not leased Ext.
We found that Ext had the most ready to use and ready designed widgets and layout features we needed to implement our "desktop like looking" webproject:
And now Ext 2.0 adds impressive new features like window layouts, collapsable groups in grid views and more.
